The Roosevelt Teacher Academy can help you get there.


The Roosevelt Careers in Education Academy is a 3-year program.. This format of learning is team-based and builds strong relationships because participants start the program, go through the program, and graduate from the program together.  The Roosevelt Careers in Education Academy exposes students to a career in education by offering real-world learning opportunities that allow students to learn through meaningful work-based experiences including internships, employment, and/or school-based enterprises.  This program outlines the steps to becoming a successful educator and provides a clear bridge to employment.

The educational field is challenging and ever-changing.  It takes work to become a quality educator.  Making a difference in the lives of students and creating positive and lasting change are rewards like no other.  Teachers foster creativity and develop character.  Use your imagination to bring subjects to life in ways students will always remember.
