2019 Gift's for the Winter Break from the Library

Every Student received a Gift during their library time,
then they got to choose a handful of books to read over the break.​ Reading is Fun!

Fresno Unified is partnering with Reading Heart and Every Neighborhood Partnership to place Little Free Libraries book boxes on eight elementary school campuses, starting with one at Heaton Elementary School. High school students built the Little Free Libraries during a summer school Geometry in Construction class. The students will install the Little Free Library on Heaton’s campus on 9/13/2019

After the Christmas Show in the cafeteria, I put books out for parents, that I have weeded out of the library.

April 4th is National School Librarian Day. This was the Awesome Banner that was made for me by the Sunshine Club from everyone at Heaton. I also received lots of cards from students.



In March Our school won 2nd and 3rd place at the Fresno High School Competition between Elementary Schools.

We have a typing lab during all class times. We have a coding, cursive and sign language station for the children to advance there skills.
