Music Department

Baird offers vocal and instrumental music classes. Students choose music classes the first week of school and classes begin the second week of school. Classes last the whole year. A commitment of a year is important if a child is going to be successful in the study of music. When parents consider enrolling their children in music, please take that commitment seriously. Developing musical skill and talent takes longer than a couple of months and it is not easy. Students need to prepare to work hard and know that playing an instrument or singing will take time, effort, patience and practice!

Baird offers the following classes:

Beginning Band, Advanced Band, Beginning String Orchestra, Advanced String Orchestra and Chorus
