Statement on FTA Negotiations

Fresno Unified and FTA are still actively negotiating and the district has yet to receive FTA's counter proposal on the district's most recent offer.  The district however, expects to receive FTA's counter soon.  Fresno Unified is committed to continuing our negotiation process and is hopeful that there is significant movement from FTA towards a mutual agreement.  Any FTA strike vote from the district's perspective is premature as parties are still negotiating.
